Patricia Ann Sauceman passed in peace on Oct. 19 to join her Lord following a brief illness. Born Jan. 29, 1930, in Sharon, PA, "Patsy Anderson" was the only daughter and middle child of Wilbert S. (Shorty) and Beatrice (Bea) Anderson. She lived her life in this area – primarily on Thomas Avenue in Sharon, PA and later in Masury, OH where she and her late husband Harold E. (Nate) Sauceman built a home in 1964.

Pat graduated from Sharon High School in 1948, and some years later began working fulltime while raising 4 children and maintaining a home. She worked for 38 years at Packard Electric in Warren, OH where she earned awards for performance and submitting ideas which improved production for people in her position. She also made many friends with whom she remained in contact after retirement.

Pat is survived by her 4 adult children: Karen (Simon) Buckley who lives near Boston, MA with her husband Jeffrey; Duane Simon of Hubbard; Jane Sauceman of Youngstown; and Elaine (Sauceman) Finley who lives in Dover, OH with her husband Michael. She also had 4 grandchildren – Jenniffer McConnell and her husband John Carlage in Bow, NH; Marc McConnell and his wife Kelly in Boulder, CO; Matthew Finley at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO; and Sarah Zagorski of Youngstown, OH. Pat had 7 great-grandchildren – Jenniffer's daughter Eliorah Finkelson at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY; Marc's son Cody McConnell in Boulder, CO; and Sarah's sons Logan, Hunter, Owen, Landyn and Mason Zagorski in Youngstown, OH; as well as 2 step-grandchildren Ford Finley in Kent, OH and Mickey (Finley) Griffey and her husband Alex and their young sons Darwin and Newton who also live in Kent.

Pat's older brother Wilbert ("Bud") Anderson, Jr., now deceased, and his wife Margaret (Peggy) who lives in Chesterfield, MO and have 3 sons – Kim Anderson and his wife Colleen of Bonita Springs, FL whose daughter Kelly (Anderson) Davis and her husband Kevin live in  Chesterfield, MO with their infant daughter McKinley; Jamie Anderson and his wife Patty of Richmond, VA who have 2 children - Michael Anderson in Richmond, and a daughter Kara (Anderson) Leslie and her husband Kevin who live in Richmond, VA with their infant son Henry; and Shawn Anderson and his wife Nancy of Kirkwood, MO who have 2 children - Carson and Lilly.

Pat's younger brother James (Jim) Anderson and his wife Mary (Susie), recently deceased, lived in The Woodlands, TX and have 2 sons – Bradley Anderson also of Woodlands, TX; and Gregory Anderson and his wife Traci of Allen, TX who have 4 children – Lena, Audrey, Sofia and Ben.  Both of Pat's brothers served in the US Navy and were CFOs for major US corporations including Laughlin Steel, Laclede Steel Company, and Ingersol Rand.

Pat is also survived by her sister-in-law Norma Sauceman of Girard, OH who has 2 daughters – Kim (Sauceman) Worona and her husband Vern who live in Girard and have 2 children – Lauren(Worona) Bromdetta and her husband Matt who have a son Landon, and Jeff Worona and his wife Alyss of Cortland, OH and their children Morgan and Luke.

Pat and her family were longtime, tithing members of the Sharon First Methodist Church where her daughters Karen and Elaine were active in the church choir and all 3 daughters participated in the Youth Fellowship group. Pat gave generously to numerous charities and was a helpful neighbor and a supportive friend.

On her mother's side of the family, Pat is descended from a brother of President James Buchanan, who was born and raised near Lancaster, PA where Pat still has many relatives. She also has numerous cousins and other family in Kentucky and Tennessee.

"Patsy" will be lovingly remembered for her sense of humor, her independent and resilient spirit, her strong work ethic, her patriotism, her love of gardening, her ability to grow beautiful flowers, and her distinctive auburn hair. Pat was deeply loved and will be missed and fondly remembered.
