Patricia Anne Rosta, 78, of Union Twp., passed away early Wednesday morning, January 22, 2025, in UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Ms. Rosta was born September 16, 1946, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Jaworski) Jozefczyk. She graduated from Union High School and went on to obtain her associate degree in business from Penn State University, Shenango Valley Campus.

She was a member of the former Madonna of Czestochowa Church, Union Twp.

For many years, Patricia worked as a decorator at the former Shenango China Co., New Castle, and later as a bookkeeper for the Bessemer Croatian Club, where she was an active member.  She was also a member of the Johnson Club, Hillsville.

A devoted mother, Patricia's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family. She enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, creating ceramic art, dancing to polkas, and watching television, particularly Law and Order, the Young and the Restless, and her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.

She is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Rosta (Justin Lykins), New Castle; eight grandchildren, Caitlin, Dalton, Kyler, Hayden, Paige, and Reilly Rosta, and Gavin, and Leland Lykins; three great grandchildren; and her ex-husband, Paul Rosta, New Castle.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by a son, Paul J. Rosta; a brother, Carl Josephson; and her companion for over 20 years, Randall Vlah.

Memorial donations may be made directly to the family at Patricia's Memorial Fund .

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday (1-27-25) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle, with Pastor Bill LaVelle, officiating.

Interment: Madonna Cemetery, Union Twp.
