Patricia Louise Racz, 94, affectionately known as "Gram," passed away peacefully in her home on September 30, 2026, leaving a profound void in the hearts of all who loved her.

She was born to Thomas and Rose Clossin on September 1, 1932, in Gallitzin, PA; however, she called Clark home for many years. Gram was the literal definition of home to her family. She was, quite simply, the best grandma, a woman who always made time for the people she loved. Gram was the protector of her family, opening her doors to her children and grandchildren who needed a soft place to land and a safe place to call home. To step into Gram's house was to be wrapped in the best hugs, where there was always cantaloupe in the fridge, candy in the cupboard, and a place on the register to warm your feet.

Her backyard was a testament to her patience and care, filled with beautiful, thriving gardens. When she wasn't tending her flowers and vegetable gardens, she could be found lost in the pages of a good romance novel or sharing stories of her youth. In her younger years, she enjoyed taking part in Civil War reenactments throughout Gettysburg and the Shenandoah Valley with her husband and grandson, Josh, where they made lifelong memories.

She is survived by three children, Susan Powers (Joseph Powers), Kathryn Mucroski, and Annette Racz (William McCullough); seven grandchildren, Josh Orpen (Amanda Dailey Blough), Jennifer Racz, Daniel Orpen (Carla Orpen), Cory Orpen, Sarah Racz (Nick Long), Melissa Lohr-Espino (Michael Espino), and Scott Lohr (Desiree Lohr); 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter on the way; and her best friend of many years, Pat Squatrito.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, John Racz; her parents, Thomas and Rose Clossin; her son, John Patrick Racz; and her grandson, Michael Bucci.
