Obituary

Patricia K. Pascoe of 182 Upland Drive, Neshannock Township, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning (10-13-09) in Jameson Hospital. She was 83 years old.
She was born on February 5, 1926, in New Castle. The daughter of Ralph and Elizabeth McCombs Kradel, she was a member of New Castle High School's graduating class of 1943.
In her early years she was employed by Strauss 's, The Johnson Bronze Company, and the New Castle News. Later she spent many years working hard as a homemaker and mother.
Patricia was a charter member of St. Camillus Church, New Castle.
She was a fantastic Bridge player, who enjoyed gardening and rooting for her favorite teams, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.
She volunteered her time with the Jameson Hospital Guild, and was a long time member of the New Castle Country Club, where she always enjoyed a good round of golf.
Pat married William F. Pascoe on August 17, 1946. He passed away on February 15, 1997. They were married fifty long and happy years.
She leaves her two daughters, Susan P. Chappell of Columbus, OH, and Lori P. Stewart, Chippewa, PA,. her sister Jackie Sansone, New Castle; her six grandchildren, Steven L. Chappell and his wife Diane, Allison E. Shaw and her husband Job, Amy Elizabeth and Kristan Lee Stewart, Mel Joyce Pascoe and Dylan James Pascoe, three great grandchildren, Madison Elizabeth Shaw, Alexandrea Lee Shaw, and Zachary Steven Chappell, many nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, her son James William Pascoe, her brother Ralph Kradel, her brother-in-law Alex Sansone, and her son-in-law Barney Chappell.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday (10-15-08) and from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Friday (10-16-09) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 111 W. Falls Street.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday in St. Camillus Church, New Castle, with the Rev. Thomas J. Lewandowski, pastor, as celebrant. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 for the church.
Internment will be at Castle View Memorial Gardens.
