Patricia A. Palko, 76, of Transfer, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, in her residence, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Palko was born February 21, 1948, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Lena (Pagliaroli) Ledney, and was a graduate of Reynolds High School.

Patricia worked for 49 years at NLMK Pennsylvania, Farrell, in both HR and the sales department, until her retirement in 2018.

She was a member of St. Michael's Church, Greenville.

Patricia loved to listen and dance along to music,  and sitting out in the sun while completing word searches and crossword puzzles. She looked forward to taking bus trips with her friends, going to the casino, and long walks. Always wanting to stay busy, Patricia took business classes at Penn State - Shenango Campus, to continue to learn new information. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially attending her granddaughter's sporting events.

Her husband, Edward G. Palko, whom she married September 22, 1973, survives at home.

She is also survived by, a son, Ed Palko (Mandy), Transfer; a daughter, Jessica Palko and her companion, Aaron Watkins, St. Petersburg, FL; a sister, Mary Ellen Zahniser, Transfer; a granddaughter, Lily Palko; and a soon to be grandson.

All services were held privately.

Interment: Holy Trinity R.C. Cemetery, Hermitage.
