Patricia Nickel, 86, of Sharpsville, passed away Thursday evening December 19, 2024, in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell.

Mrs. Nickel was born on October 19, 1938, in Sharpsville, a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Helen S. (Mattocks) Marrie. She was a 1956 graduate of Sharpsville High School.

Pat was employed for more than 30 years at the former Allen Agency, Inc., Hermitage, working as a bookkeeper and eventually earning her insurance license and becoming an agent.

She enjoyed working in her flower and vegetable gardens and attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's events. She also cherished riding as a passenger on her husband's motorcycle and more recently in their Ford Mustang.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, William G. Nickel, whom she married on May 23, 1959; a daughter, Shelley Rosa, Transfer, PA; two sons, Douglas Nickel and his wife Jinning, California, and David Nickel, Hubbard, OH; three grandchildren, Savanna Moore and her husband Richard, Logan Rosa, and Chase Munson; four greatgrandchildren, Kendra, Makayla, Jacob and Harper Moore. Also surviving are two sisters, Shirley Trice and her husband Thomas, Hermitage, and Judith Wolfe and her husband Gerald, Sharpsville.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret "Peggy" Ruggles.
