Patricia Moffatt

Patricia Moffatt, 79, of Shenango Twp., passed away late Sunday evening, April 19, 2026, in Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford.

Mrs. Moffatt was born November 15, 1946, in New Castle, a daughter of the late James and Martha (Taylor) Donnelly and graduated from Laurel High School.

She was a member of the former St. Joseph’s Parish, New Castle.

Patricia worked for the former Montgomery Ward, Niles, OH, for many years, and most recently for Villa Maria, providing housekeeping services for the Sisters of the Holy Humility of Mary.

She served on the Shenango School Board in the early 1990s and was an exceptionally talented, award-winning artist. She also had a passion for traveling, visiting Europe, Central and South America, and 49 of the 50 United States.

On December 30, 1967, she married her husband, Robert Moffatt, who survives at home. Together, they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage.

In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by two sons, Shane Moffatt (Courtney), Butler, PA, and Ryan Moffatt, New Castle; brother, Michael Donnelly, NC; two grandchildren, Alaric, New Castle, and Isabella, FL; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Heath Moffatt.

In keeping with her wishes, all services will be held privately.
