Patricia L. Logan, 7752 Arthur St., Masury, Ohio passed away at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday (7-15-09) in her residence following a brief illness. She was 82.
Mrs. Logan was born September 16, 1926 in Sharon, PA a daughter of the late James Joseph and Ethel Mae Wills Ryan.
She attended the former Sacred Heart Parochial Grade School and Sharon High School.
Prior to her marriage, Mrs. Logan was employed at the former Sharon Transformer Division of the Westinghouse Electric Corporation.
A homemaker, she was a member of Queen of the Holy Rosary Parish and a former member of St. Vincent DePaul, both Vienna, Ohio; St. Bernadette's, Masury, Ohio where she was also a member of its altar and rosary society; and Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon. She and her husband were former members of the Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks, Lodge 103 in Sharon and together they enjoyed dancing, bicycling, traveling and camping. Mrs. Logan also enjoyed tending to her yard and her flower and vegetable gardens. Her grandchildren were a big part of her life and she looked forward to the times she shared with them.
Her husband, Edward F. Logan, Sr., whom she married September 3, 1949, passed away October 13, 1999.
Surviving are: five sons, Thomas J. Logan and his wife Doris, Hubbard Township, Ohio; John M. Logan and his wife Pamela, Hubbard, Ohio; James P. Logan and his wife Cynthia, Brookfield Twp.; Patrick K. Logan and his wife Lori, Masury, Ohio; and Timothy J. Logan, Masury, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, Kelly, TJ, Tim, Steven, John, Ben, Laura, Brian, Ryan, Evan, Leighann, Carly, Maggie and Erin; 8 great grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Ryan, Sharon; two brothers, James Ryan; and John Ryan and his wife Toni, all Sharon.
Besides her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by a son, Edward F. Logan, Jr. who passed away in 1975; and two brothers, Thomas and William Ryan.
Calling hours will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday (7-17-09) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon. The rosary will be recited at 9 p.m. Friday (7-17-09) in the funeral home following calling hours.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday (7-18-09) in Queen of the Holy Rosary Parish, 391 Scoville Rd., Vienna, Ohio with the Rev. Denis G. Bouchard, pastor, as celebrant.
Everyone is invited to attend the Mass and should go directly to the church.
Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
