Patricia S. “Pat” Jones, 83, of Sharon, went to be with her Lord, Saturday morning, January 3, 2026, surrounded by her family at home.
Mrs. Jones was born on June 21, 1942, in Cleveland, OH, a daughter of the late Michael and Susan (Nemec) Knapik, Sr. She attended Stafford Elementary School and was a 1960 graduate of Maple Heights (OH) High School.
While working at Sherman’s Department Store in Maple Heights, she met her lifelong companion, Richard “Dick” Jones. They married on February 1, 1964, faithfully sharing more than 60 years together.
A dedicated homemaker, she loved to cook and was an exemplary cleaner. For many years, Pat worked as a housekeeper, tidying up local homes, businesses, the church rectory and the CCD Hall at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.
A devout Catholic, Pat was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sharon, where she served as an Usher and Eucharistic Minister. Upon the church’s closing, she joined the Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex. A kind soul at heart, Pat was honored on many occasions for the countless hours she donated to the Prince of Peace, Farrell. Additionally, she was very active in the Secular Franciscan Order and the Ladies of Charity
She is survived by her husband at home; three daughters, Kimberly George, of Sharon, Jennifer Cimperman, of Hermitage, and Gail Shontz and her husband, Michael, of Salem, OH; seven grandchildren, Gary (Natalie), Christopher, Megan, Helene (Jeremy), Stephen, Elizabeth and Amy; and seven great-grandchildren, Marcus, Addilyn, Claire, Parker, Noah, Grayson and Enzo.
In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Michael Knapik.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Holy Spirit Fraternity and mailed to Chris Kneeland, C/O Holy Spirit Fraternity, 301 Chestnut St., Jamestown, PA 16134; or to the Church of the Good Shepherd, 3613 Sharon Rd., West Middlesex, PA 16159.

Mass of Christian burial will immediately follow at noon, Thursday, with Rev. Glenn Whitman, pastor as celebrant.
