Obituary
Patricia Ann DeSantis Finn, 1934 Northgate Circle Akron, Ohio, formerly of Farrell, passed away on Sunday (12-28-08) in Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness. She was 53.
Patricia was born on August 31, 1955 in Sharon, Pa. the daughter of Peter L. DeSantis M.D. and Dorothy Caton DeSantis.
She was an alumna of Kennedy Christian High School class of 1974.
She matriculated to Pennsylvania State University where she earned her paralegal degree and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. She also graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with Associate degree in fashion design and merchandising.
She attended Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, Pa.
Patricia was passionate about her work in art and design, and was employed by several companies over the past 25 years including Marketing Systems Corp., Hamilton N.J., Lambert &Co. Inc., Boston, MA. Minute Man Press, York, PA., and the Sterling Corp., Fairlawn, Oh.
Her husband Stephen E. Finn whom she married on July 30, 1990, survives at the residence. She also leaves her mother Dorothy DeSantis, Farrell; six sisters, her twin Margaret Bell, Akron, Ohio; Mary O. DeSantis, Houston, Tx; Andrea L. DeSantis Audubon, NJ ; Pam Alvanos and her husband John, Alpharetta, Ga.; Carol L. DeSantis Mirkovich and her husband Paul,Farrell; Kathyrn E. DeSantis Alpharetta; four brothers, James P. DeSantis D. O. and his wife Carol, Clearfield, Pa.; Peter J. DeSantis P E. and his wife Lorrie, Alpharetta; William P. DeSantis and his wife Laura, Powder Springs, Ga., and David DeSantis, Esq., San Francisco ,three brother in laws, Richard Finn and his wife Annette, Douglas Finn and his wife Joan all New Hampshire, Jeffrey Finn and his wife Debbie, California; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Our Lady of Fatima Church, 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, Pa, 16121.
Calling hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday (12-30-08) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon. A Rosary will be recited at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Services: Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday (12-31-08) in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Farrell, with Rev. Donald E. Berdis, pastor as celebrant. There will be a brief prayer service at 9:15 in the funeral home prior to leaving for the church.
Interment: St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage.
