Patricia A. DelFratte, 89, of Hermitage, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Mrs. DelFratte was born on April 14, 1936, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Herbert and Helen (Sutton) Young. She was the Valedictorian of the 1954 class of Sharon High School, where she also served as the class treasurer, secretary for Mr. Wildman and participated in her junior and senior class play.
Prior to marriage, she was employed as a secretary of the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. Later, Patricia was a long-term employee of J.C. Penny's, Kraynak's and Big Lots.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Patricia had a passion for dancing, office work and reading. Her face lit up whenever her grandchildren were around. Additionally, she collected different types of bells and decorative birds.
Her husband of 67 years, James V. DelFratte, whom she married on October 6, 1956, passed away on November 21, 2023. They shared a love of Christ and raised their family at Farrell Christian Assembly Church. Together they made countless memories and a love for polka music and dancing. She and James spent countless hours, admiring wildlife out their window, especially the birds and deer that came into the yard from Buhl Park.
She is survived by a daughter, Terri L. Nuel, of Hermitage; a son, David B. DelFratte and his wife Gina, of Sharon; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Herbert D. Young and his wife, Faye, of Brookfield, OH.
In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by a son, James M. DelFratte; and a brother, Frederick A. Young.
She will be forever missed by all who loved her and will remain forever in their hearts.

Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Monday (11/24/2025) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 East State St., Sharon.
Funeral service will immediately follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Aaron Lego, officiating.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
