Obituary

Parma F. Cimino, 91, of Sugar Land, TX, and previously a longtime resident of Hermitage, passed away peacefully late Saturday evening, August 10, 2024, in The Crescent, Sugar Land, TX.


Mrs. Cimino was born June 11, 1933, in New Kensington, PA, a daughter of the late Anthony and Julia (Long) Bonadio. She was a 1951 graduate of Valley High School in New Kensington, PA, and attended Slippery Rock University.


A homemaker, Parma also worked at the American Red Cross in Sharon later in life.
Parma was a member of St. Joseph Church in Sharon.


A social butterfly who loved spending time with friends and family, she also had a passion for traveling and enjoyed playing bridge and going to the YMCA in Hermitage.


Her beloved husband of 60 years, Anthony H. "Bud" Cimino, whom she married August 17, 1957, preceded her in death on July 4, 2017.


Parma is survived by a daughter, Susan L. McIntyre (Paul), Toronto, Canada; three sons, Paul A. Cimino (Nancy), Myrtle Beach, SC, William K. Cimino (Katie), Fernandino Beach, FL, and Thomas J. Cimino (Karen), Sugar Land, TX; a sister, Frances Massimino (Andrew), Dallas, TX; nine grandchildren, Sean and Alyssa (Olin) McIntyre; and Eugenia, Anthony, Taylor, Malaya, Max, Bo, and Ty Cimino; and three great-grandchildren, Janelle, Jaelynn, and Jianna.


Calling hours will be 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McGonigleFuneralHomeandCrematory.com .


Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2024, in St. Joseph Church, 79 Case Ave., Sharon, with Rev. James Power, as celebrant.


Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
