Norman G. Kolbrich, 91, of Hermitage, passed away with his family by his side, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, in his home.
Mr. Kolbrich was born on July 13, 1934, in Farrell, a son of the late Emerich and Susan (Marenchin) Kolbrich. He was a 1952 graduate of Hickory High School and honorably served in the Infantry Division of the U.S. Army as a tank operator.
He was a steel fabricator at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. Norman also worked part-time as a butcher, which became his primary occupation upon the closing of Sharon’s Westinghouse plant. He worked as a meat cutter for Giant Eagle, Hermitage; the former Hanson’s Meats, Sharon; the former Thorton Golden Dawn, Sharon, the former Shop-N-Save, Hermitage; and Black’s Golden Dawn, West Middlesex.
Norman was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hermitage.
An avid bowler, Norman was inducted into the Mercer County Bowling Hall of Fame. He bowled in the Hickory Ten Pin League, which is now the Clark House League for 60 years and the PNA Bowling League for 21 years. Additionally, he competed in many local and state bowling tournaments.
Norman also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and word puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, the former Stella Wasko, whom he married on December 25, 1956; a daughter, Joyce Geisel and her husband, Brian, of Sharpsville; a son, Gerald Kolbrich and his wife, Deborah, of Kinsman, OH; a granddaughter, Rachel; three siblings, Nicholas and Charles Kolbrich, and Mary Ann Wallace, all of Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and John Kolbrich.

All services are private.
Interment: Mt. Washington Cemetery, Hermitage.
