Norma J. Rueberger, formerly of Mercer, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 4, 2019, in Clepper Manor, Sharon. She was 84.

Mrs. Rueberger was born August 27, 1934, in Vandergrift, PA, a daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy J. (Metz) Cooper.

A homemaker, Norma was also a devout catholic and a longtime member of St. Anthony Church, Sharon. She was also a member of Al-Anon Family Groups of Mercer Co. for many years.

Her husband, Alois Rueberger, Sr., whom she married July 12, 1958, passed away December 8, 2001.

She is survived by a daughter, Rosa (Thomas) Rada, of Florida; three sons, Alois Rueberger, Jr., of Florida; John Rueberger, of Sharon, and Jeffrey Rueberger, of Hermitage; nine grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

There will be no calling hours.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, in St. Anthony Church, 804 Idaho St, Sharon, PA, with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment: Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hermitage.
