Norma Jean Powell, 80, of New Castle, previously of Lake Havasu, AZ, passed away Friday morning, September 19, 2025, in her residence.

Mrs. Powell was born October 2, 1944, in Rochester, NY, a daughter of the late Allen and Helen (Walters) Kiesinger.

Primarily a homemaker, Norma was also employed by Stromberg Carlson Manufacturing, Rochester, NY.

Norma leaves behind her son, Richard Powell, and his wife, Anne, of Cranberry Township; a sister, Gayle Vascuknas, and her husband, Mike, of Crystal River, FL; a grandson, Christopher Powell, and his wife, Tamara, of Kannapolis, NC; and a great-grandson, Nathan.

In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Butler, whom she married in 1973, he passed away in 2003; and a great-granddaughter, Nevaeh.

In keeping with Norma's wishes, there will be no calling hours or a service.
