Obituary

Norma "Joyce" Clark, Seidle Rd., Jefferson Township, passed away unexpectedly at 5:06 a.m. Thursday (7-9-15) in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a brief illness. She was 68. Joyce was born January 9, 1947 in Sharon, the daughter of Norman and Helen Webber Lamont. A lifelong area resident, she graduated from Hickory High School in 1964. Joyce retired with 41 years of service from Joy Cone Company, Hermitage, where she was proud to have been the company's first woman foreman. She was of the catholic faith. Joyce was a free spirit who enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved her cats, flowers, nature, going for rides in the country, spending time with her family, dancing, music, searching for eagles, and chasing the moon. She will be sadly missed by all. She is survived by her fiancé Charlie Fischer of Sharon, three sisters, Nancy Noir and her husband Bob, Hermitage, Cathy Lamont, Clark, and Mary Faye Templeton and her husband Chuck, Mercer, two brothers, Charles Lamont and his wife Kathy, Farrell, and Bernie Lamont, Sharpsville, her nieces and nephews, Debbie Locke, Ellen and Ken Hott, Katie and Brad Taylor, Marty Noir, Matthew Noir, and Marcus and Heather Lamont, 13 great nieces and nephews, John, Sarah and Thomas Locke, Megan and Lauren Hott, Adam, Zane, and Max Taylor, Robert and Ryan Noir, and Jessica, Machella, and Alex Lamont, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two infant brothers, Edward, and Robert. Calling hours: 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Monday (7-13-15) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St., Sharon. Service: 1:30 p.m. Monday (7-13-15) in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jeffrey J. Noble, pastor of Notre Dame Church, Hermitage officiating. Cremation: Arrangements are by the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon.
