Nicholas 'Nick' M. Tatomirovich of 7722 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Hubbard, OH. passed away at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010 in Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. He was 41.
Mr. Tatomirovich was born in Sharon, PA on June 6, 1968, a son of Stanley and Regina Harenchar Tatomirovich.
He attended Sharon High School and Penn State Shenango Campus.
Nicholas was employed as a welder at Trinity Industries in Greenville from 1989 to the time of its closing in 2000. He then went on to work at Wheatland Tube for two years and was currently employed at Duferco Farrell Company.
Mr. Tatomirovich was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Hermitage. Nick was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Dale Earnhardt Jr. Fan. He previously bowled for many years in the Erme's League at Sunset Lanes Bowling Alley and enjoyed hunting. He along with his family owned and operated Tats B-B-Q and catering. He enjoyed cooking on the spit and along with his family has cooked at the Great Stoneboro fair for 29 years. Nick was a regular member of the American Carpo-Russian Club and Maennerchor Club, both of Sharon.
The greatest joy in his life was spending time with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed.
Survivors include: his loving wife of almost 20 years, Suzanne Schwab, whom he married October 27, 1990; his 3 adoring daughters, Bethany and her fiancé Steven Kirsch of Fredonia, Samantha and Nicole all at home; his mother, Regina Tatomirovich of Masury; 2 brothers, Stanley John of Sharon and Brian Tatomirovich of Masury; 3 sisters, Mary Cotten of Greenville, Anastasia and her husband Dale Ondic of Masury, OH, and Stephanie Tatomirovich of Sharon; his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Mary Loomis of Transfer, PA; 3 sisters-in-law, Cindy and her husband Jeff Nolan of Temecula, CA, Kelly and her husband Gary Robison of Virginia Beach, VA, and Teresa and her husband Tim Daisley of Transfer; 4 nephews; 5 nieces; 1 great niece; 1 great nephew. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Nick was preceded in death by his father; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146. A Pomen Service will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 11 a.m. in St. George Serbian Orthodox Church with Rev. Milovan Z. Katanic.
Internment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
