Nicholas "Nick" Manfredi Jr. of Mercer passed away at 5:12 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, in the emergency room of Sharon Regional Health System after a brief illness. He was 58. Mr. Manfredi was born Sept. 26, 1956, in Pittsburgh, a son of Nicholas A. Manfredi Sr. and Louise J. Iampietro Manfredi. He attended Mercer High School and was a sales representative and general manager at the former Stallion Supply Co., Mercer. Nick was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Mercer, and was a former member and grand knight of Knights of Columbus Council 4720, also Mercer. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating and working with and restoring automobiles. His wife, the former Pamela J. Trump, whom he married Dec. 16, 1989, passed away Oct. 23, 2002. Surviving are: a daughter, Adrienne McCullough and her husband Sean; a son, Nicholas Manfredi III; a sister, Lou Ann Zitko and her husband Larry; and a brother, Matthew Manfredi, all Mercer; four nephews; several cousins; his mother-in-law, Delores Trump, Fredonia; and an uncle, Francis Manfredi and his wife Pat, New Castle. Besides his wife, Nick was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Thomas Trump. Calling hours: None. Service: Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday (4-18-15) in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Mercer, with the Rev. James J. Kennelley, pastor, as celebrant. Interment: All Saints Cemetery, Mercer.
