Nevin W. Stuart, 67, of Pymatuning Twp., passed away Sunday evening, April 14, 2024, in his home.

Mr. Stuart was born on January 6, 1957, in Beaver Falls, PA, a son of the late Ralph P. and Elizabeth (Stuck) Stuart. He attended Northwestern High School in Beaver Falls and served six years in the United States Marine Corps. While in the USMC he attended truck driving school, achieving the rank of Corporal.

Nevin was employed as a truck driver, beginning his career at Nick Strimbu Inc., Brookfield, and retired from Yourga Trucking Inc., Wheatland after 40 years of service.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 5286, and the Slovak Home, both in Farrell.

Nevin enjoyed golfing, bowling and camping.

He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy (DiPetta) Herrick, whom he married in 1982; a daughter, Denice Herrick Austeel, Lancaster, PA; a son, Christopher Herrick, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Courtney Austeel Achey (Craig), Kaitlyn Austeel Reeves (Steven), Kacie Austeel, Brandon Baker, all of Lancaster, and Kaylie Robertson, Mercer; five greatgrandchildren, Rylyn Yohn, Wesley Reeves, and Chase, Colter and Cody Achey; three siblings, George and Russell Stuart, and Marlea Stuart Hacker and her husband Robert; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Nevin was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Sharon McLaughlin Stuart.
