Natalie Rose Olson of Hermitage, passed away after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer at 4:18 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015 in the Cleveland Clinic. She was 25. She was born on November 23, 1989 in Sharon, the daughter of Richard and Cecelia Antus Olson. Ms. Olson was a 2008 graduate of Hickory High School, where she was a majorette. Following high school she matriculated to Youngstown State University, where she was just 5 classes away from obtaining her bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Natalie was employed as a greeter at Eat'n Park Restaurant in Hermitage. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Sharon. For many years Natalie took baton lessons with the Twirling Angels and dance lessons at Dance Center Studios, where she was a student instructor. Natalie loved to travel, listen to music, shopping, and driving around in her Ford Mustang. Her greatest joy was her daughter and spending time with her and the rest of her family. The one dream Natalie had, was to take her daughter to Disney, but was unable to do so. Natalie is survived by her parents, Richard and Cecelia Olson of Hermitage; a daughter, Rosalie Elizabeth Guthrie at home; 2 brothers, Shawn Stroup and Richard A. Olson Jr. of Erie, PA. Ms. Olson was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John and Rosalie Antus; Paternal grandparents, Norman and Elizabeth Olson; an uncle, Jack Antus; and her two Sheltie dogs, Mugsy and Chip. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and staff for the care their daughter received in the gynecologic oncology department at the Cleveland Clinic and Hillcrest Hospital in Cleveland.
