Nancy Kuzniar, 87, of Masury, OH, passed away Friday evening, December 28, 2018, in her home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Kuzniar was born June 17, 1931, in Masury, a daughter of the late George and Eva (Lozer) Hudavoni.  She was a 1949 graduate of Brookfield High School.

A homemaker, Nancy was a member of St. Adalbert's Church, Farrell. She was also employed at the former Leo Herrmann Distributing, Brookfield, OH, for ten years.

She enjoyed polka dancing and she and her husband traveled to many dance halls between Pittsburgh and Cleveland. She was a member of the Penn-Ohio Polka Pals Booster Club and was honored as its "Women of the year."

Nancy belonged to the PNA bowling league for 58 years, and she volunteered for thirteen years with the Sharon Regional Medical Center Ladies Auxiliary.

Her husband, Theodore "Ted" J. Kuzniar, whom she married June 23, 1951 survives at home.  Also surviving are two daughters, Deborah A. Pucci and her husband Michael, of Pittsburgh; and Patricia J. Kuzniar, of Masury; a son, David J. Kuzniar and his wife Melanie, of Hermitage; two grandsons, Kyle Kuzniar and his wife Kristy; and Tyler Kuzniar; two great granddaughters, Lexie and Lanie Kuzniar, all of Springhill, FL; three step-grandchildren, Mandie, Michael and Stephen; and six step-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Mae Reeher and Mary Sharp; and three brothers, Michael, John and Harry Hudavoni.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday (01/02/2019) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State Street, Sharon.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday (01/03/2019) in the funeral home, with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, officiating.

Interment:  Holy Cross Cemetery, Hermitage.
