Michelle Elaine Nelson, 58, of New Castle, passed away April 4, 2025, in her residence.

Ms. Nelson was born January 31, 1967, in Phoenix, AZ, a daughter of Gerald and Joyce (Smith) Dean of New Castle, they survive at home. She was a 1985 graduate of Lawrence County Career and Technical School.

Michelle was a member of New Life Baptist Church, New Wilmington.

In addition to her parents, she is also survived by two daughters, Brittany Schultz, and Emily Armstrong, both of New Castle; brother, Bryan Dean (Andrea), Canfield, OH; two grandsons, Anton and Gunner Schultz; and four granddaughters, Madison Schultz, Kamore Mitchell, Meilianna Armstrong, and Mylah Abraham.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Dean.

In keeping with Michelle's wishes, there will be no services.
