A private memorial service will be held for Michelina 'Lena' Gargano Petrillo, Scott Drive, Hermitage, formerly of Connelly Manor, Sharon. She passed away at 10:10 a.m. Sunday (10-31-10) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after an extended illness. She was 83.

Mrs. Petrillo was born Aug. 20, 1927, in Farrell, a daughter of Antonio and Raffaela Pallante Gargano.

She attended schools in Farrell. Lena worked as an assembler for Delphi Packard Electric Systems, Warren, Ohio, for 25 years, retiring in 1982. Previously she worked for several years as a buyer at the former Sharon Store in downtown Sharon.

She was a member of Grace Chapel Community Church, Hermitage. Lena was a generous person. She enjoyed making crafts and cooking and baking to share with others.

She is survived by: her daughter, with whom she lived, Holly M. Fulford and her husband Keith, Hermitage; two sisters, Louise Tobias, Poway, Calif.; and Olga M. Caputo, Hermitage; a brother, Anthony Gargano Jr. and his wife Betsy, Sharpsville; and a grandson, Daniel J. Fulford.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Gargano, and an infant, Ralph Gargano.
