Michele S. Sagenich of 745 Greenville Rd. Mercer, PA, formerly of West Middlesex, passed away at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Avalon Springs Nursing Center. She was 42.

Mrs. Sagenich was born in Sharon, PA on September 5, 1967, a daughter of Richard H. 'Dick' and Dorothy J. Taylor Kennedy.

She was a graduate of Hickory High School.

She was a homemaker most of her life. Michele was a member of Hickory United Methodist Church. She found enjoyment watching NASCAR and Stock Car Racing, camping, collecting dolls, reading, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Her husband, Brian Sagenich, whom she married December of 1987, passed away on May 27, 2009

Survivors include: Her father, Richard 'Dick' Kennedy of Hermitage; a daughter, Misty Dawn Sagenich of Hermitage; a son, Darin J. Sagenich of Hermitage; a sister, Kimberly A. Odem of Sharon; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Dorothy Sagenich; sister-in-law, Pam Rondoni; Brother-in-law, Shawn Sagenich; nieces, Tiara and Tierney with whom she spent a lot of time with; a nephew Julian and his father Alex Richards; aunt and uncle, Ted and Gail Kennedy and Richard and Dana Hale

Besides her mother and husband, Michele was preceded in death by a brother, Richard J. Kennedy; great grandparents, Alice and Russell Taylor and Howard and Emma Kennedy.

In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Cremation will take place in the funeral home crematory. Arrangements are entrusted to the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon, PA 16146.
