Michael J. Yurich, Jr. of Farrell passed away Friday evening, December 15, 2017, in the Grove at Greenville. He was 93.

Mr. Yurich was born June 23, 1924, in Sharon and was a graduate of Farrell High School. He served with the US Navy stateside during WWII. Upon his discharge he began working at the former Sharon Steel, where he was employed for nearly 40 years until his retirement.

Michael was a member of the Church of the Notre Dame, Hermitage. An avid runner, he would run eight to ten miles a day. He also enjoyed watching sports and going to Las Vegas.

His wife of 53 years, the former Donna M. Burke, passed away on January 5, 2017.

Michael is survived by three nieces, Claudia Bestelli, Tracy Bowes, and Kelly Archinal; and one other niece and two nephews.

In addition to his wife, Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

There are no calling hours.

Funeral service is private for the family.
