Michael G. Redmond, of Hermitage, passed away unexpectedly Saturday evening, January 26, 2019, in UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh. He was 63.

Mr. Redmond was born June 11, 1955, in Greenville, a son of the late Donald and Gladys (Reinhart) Redmond. A lifelong area resident, he attended Farrell High School.

Michael was a truck driver for forty years and retired from Dean Foods, S. Pymatuning.

He was a member of the Farrell Slovak Home, Farrell V.F.W. Post 5286, and Teamsters local 261, New Castle for many years.

Michael enjoyed the outdoors, particularly camping with his family and friends.  He also had a passion for music.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, the former Sandra Sanoski; three children, Michelle Redmond and her fiancé Nijya Justice, Sharon, Chelsey (Zach) Kepple, and Michael Redmond, Jr.,  all of Hermitage; eleven siblings, Carol Baumgartner, Youngstown, Donald (Tina) Redmond, Sharpsville, Gary Redmond, Franklin, PA, Dennis (Liana) Redmond, Hermitage, Leopold (Marcia) D'Amore, Sharpsville, Kathy (Michael) Turjanica, Uniontown, PA, David (Noreen) D'Amore, Florida, Tom D'Amore, Hermitage, Kathy (Andrew) Novotney, Washington, PA, and Terry Redmond; four grandchildren, Braxston Cataldi, Kamden Stevens, Khalil Stevens, and Khyton Truman; he also leaves a mother-in-law, Geraldine Sanoski; and a sister-in-law, Cynthia Sanoski, both of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Redmond; two brothers, Timothy Martin Redmond, Kenneth D'Amore; father-in-law, Norbert Sanoski, brother-in-law, Kenneth Sanoski; sister-in-law, Debra Mullen

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday (1-30-19) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday (1-31-19) in the funeral home.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
