Michael was born November 4, 1946 in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Emerson V. and Agnes Marie Kozel Nicol.

He graduated from St. Bonaventure High School, Sturtevant, Wisconsin, and attended Western Michigan University where he studied Petroleum Engineering Technology.

He was semi retired from Keystone Blind Association where he had worked as an Assistant Technology Instructor for several years. He previously worked in the food court at Penn State University's Shenango campus and at Rockwell International of Uniontown.

Michael was a former member of St. Mary's (Nativity) Uniontown, Pa.

His wife the former Amy J. Nicol preceded him in death.

He leaves his two sons, M. David Nicol and Stephanie Myers, Fairchance, Pa., and Brian T. Nicol Austin, Tx, one brother, Robert "Bob" Nicol (Marta), a niece Krista Nicol, a nephew Matthew(Holly) Nicol and a great niece, Reagan Nicol, and his brother in law William H. Dickson, Sharon.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
