Michael D. Hervatine, 80, of New Castle passed away with his wife at his side early Friday morning, April 5, 2024, in The Grove at New Castle.

Mr. Hervatine was born December 7, 1943, in New Castle, a son of the late Marco and Josephine (Sbarro) Hervatine.

A machinist, Michael had worked for Babcock and Wilcox, Inc., Beaver Falls, PA, and later for Lockley Manufacturing and Axloy Manufacturing, both in New Castle.

Michael was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to snow skiing and traveling, he always looked forward to spending time on the water fishing and boating at his camp on Pymatuning Lake.

His beloved wife, Susan (Dudoic) Hervatine, whom he married February 24, 2006, in Orlando, FL, survives at their home in New Castle.

Michael is also survived by a daughter, Lisa Costello (Michael), Parkland, FL; three step-children, Preston Sager, Amanda Sager, and Waylon Sager, all of New Castle; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, Christopher, Jordan, Nicholas, Savannah, and Ryan; and several great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Michael's wishes, all funeral services will be held privately.

Interment: Graceland Cemetery, Neshannock Twp.
