Michael L. Gaborko

Michael L. Gaborko, 58, of Sharpsville, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, following a brief illness.

Mr. Gaborko was born July 27, 1968, in Connellsville, PA, a son of the late Harold W. and Ruth M. (Friguglietti) Gaborko. He was a 1986 graduate of Sharon High School, and in 1996, completed an associate's degree in business administration at Penn State University, Shenango Valley Campus.

Since 1997, Mike has been employed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and has served as manager at several Wine and Spirit stores since 2008, notably the Grove City, Slippery Rock, and Sharon Locations.

An avid sports fan, Mike loved watching football, baseball, and NASCAR, and collecting the respective sports cards for each sport. He had a lifelong love for animals, especially the four German Shepherds he had as pets. Mike always looked forward to time well spent with family and his beloved dog, Nova.

He is survived by a sister, Diane Swick (Ronald), of Hermitage; a brother, Kevin Gaborko, of Sharon; and two nephews, John and Scott Perrine, both of Hermitage.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Debra and John Perrine.

In keeping with his wishes, all services will be held privately amongst family. 

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Hermitage.
