Melanie Rodgers

Melanie A. Rodgers, 75, of Fowler, OH, passed away Wednesday morning, December 17, 2025, in Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House, Poland, OH.

Ms. Rodgers was born on June 13, 1950, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Andrew and Evelyn J. (Hogue) Malenky. She was a 1968 graduate of Hickory High School.

She retired from Delphi/ Packard Electric, Vienna, where she was employed for more than 30 years.

An animal lover, she has a passion for horseback riding and provided various pets a loving home, including dogs, cats, horses and cows.

She is survived by a son, Douglas Rodgers (Tina); two granddaughters, Alexis and Samantha; a brother, Scott Malenky (Geralyn); a niece, Carley; and a nephew, Scotty.

In addition to her parents, Melanie was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Malenky.

Memorial contributions may be directed to an animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
