Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday (4-19-10) for Matthew Robert 'Bobby' Kacerski, 675 Theresa Ave., Hermitage who passed away Wednesday (4-14-10) in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following an extended illness. He was 53.
He was born on March 4, 1957 in Sharon, the son of Matthew W. and Minnie Virgallito Kacerski.
Bob was employed for more than 32 years at General Motors Assembly Plant, Lordstown, Ohio.
A lifelong area resident, he was a 1975 graduate of Sharon High School and he attended St. Stanislaus Church, Sharon.
He was a member of the F. H. Buhl Club and Avalon Golf and Country Club where he always enjoyed a good round of golf and spending time with his friends.
Bobby was a loving son, brother, and great friend to many; he will be sadly missed by everyone whose life he touched.
He is survived by his mother, Minnie Kacerski, and two brothers, Ronald M. Kacerski, and Dennis J. Kacerski, all of Sharon, his god mother Stella Donley, and many close extended family members who all loved him dearly.
His father and paternal and maternal grandparents preceded him in death.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday (4-19-10) at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 370 Spruce Ave, Sharon with Rev. Stanley Swacha, pastor as the celebrant. There will be a brief prayer service in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. prior to leaving for the church.
