Obituary

Mary Ann Winiecki, Hermitage, formerly of Troutman Rd., Jefferson Twp., passed away peacefully at 8:30 a.m. Monday (1-4-16) at her residence following a brief illness. She was 86.

She was born August 27, 1929 in Sharon, one of three children born to Michael and Angeline Skalich Chewar.

She was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Farrell High School class of 1947.

A homemaker, she was a member of St. Adalberts Church, Farrell.

She worked for 44 years as a payroll administrator in the Dairy business at Dean Foods and both their predecessors, Hawthorn Mellody, and Brookfield Dairy.

She was an avid bowler and bowled in the PNA bowling league at Thornton Hall, Sharon.

She loved to bake, work crossword puzzles, crochet, and spend time with her family, she especially enjoyed family cookouts.

Mary married Walter J. "Fuzzy" Winiecki, August 25, 1951, he survives at home.

Also surviving are two daughters, Kathleen "Kathy" A. Blasko, Sharon, and Tina M. Cull and her husband Calvin, South Pymatuning Twp., two grandchildren, Patrick L. Cull of South Pymatuning and his girlfriend Tracy Cross of Hermitage, and Jenna L. Cull and her fiancé Andrew McCright, West Salem Township.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Stephen Ursich, and Michael A. Chewar.

Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday ( 1-6-16 ) in the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 1090 E. State St. Sharon.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday ( 1-7-16 ) in St. Adalbert's Church 1035 Fruit Ave., Farrell.

Internment: Holy Cross Cemetery, Hermitage
