Mary Rose Conti, 57, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at her home.

She was born on November 18, 1960 in Sharon, PA to Fred and Rose Conti. Mary Rose received her Bachelor degree at Purdue University and received her Masters degree from Murray State University. She taught English and writing skills at First Colony Middle School in Sugar Land, TX where she taught for sixteen years. Mary Rose enjoyed cross stitching, painting, reading and collecting pig figurines which she has been collecting since her youth. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.


Survivors include her parents, Fred and Rose Conti of Madisonville; brother, Joseph A. Conti and wife, Cheryl of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; niece, Kaitlin Conti; and her nephew, Joseph L. Conti.

The funeral mass will be held at 6 p.m. Central time on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church in Earlington, KY with Father David Kennedy officiating. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Eastern time on Monday, June 18, 2018 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sharon, PA J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. in Sharon, PA is in charge of the burial.

The visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the funeral mass Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church in Earlington, KY.
