Mary M. Kriebel, 92, of Wheatland, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 28, 2025, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle.

Mrs. Kriebel was born on July 22, 1932, in West Freedom, Clarion County, PA, a daughter of the late Harold and Cora Mae (Cooper) Haugh. She was a 1951 graduate of Parker (PA) High School.

A dedicated homemaker, prior to marriage she worked at the former Level Works, Parker.

Her husband of 49 years, James Roy Kriebel, whom she married on August 1, 1953, passed away on April 28, 2003.

In addition to being a homemaker, she cleaned other homes throughout the Shenango Valley for many years.

In her spare time, she enjoyed working on puzzle books, feeding and watching birds, and listening to country music. Above all, she cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary will be remembered for her unique sense of humor and sass.

She is survived by three daughters, Sally Jean Hall and her husband David, of Warren, OH, Carrie Lynne Kriebel, with whom she lived, and Joy Suzanne Sadowski, of Sharon; two grandchildren, Lucas James and Rachael Daniell Sadowski; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by three sisters, June Hovis, Cleta England, and infant Nancy Haugh; and five brothers, Harold, William, John, Harry and Leroy Haugh.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family or a charity of the donor's choice.

In keeping with Mary's wishes all services are private.

Interment: Morefield Cemetery, Hermitage.
