Mary Fabry, formerly of S. Pymatuning Township and Warren, Ohio, passed away at
3:02 a.m.
Sunday, May 1, 2016, in Avalon Springs Nursing Center, Mercer, after an extended illness.
She was 86.
Mrs. Fabry was born September 14, 1929, one of 16 children to Karl and Mary Rusnak Matas.
She moved to Warren, Ohio in 1951 following her marriage.
A homemaker, she was a member of the Transfer (PA) Community Church of God and a former longtime active member of 1

Church of God, Warren, Ohio, where she was a
Sunday
school teacher and a member of its choir.
Mary enjoyed the time she shared with her family, whom she loved very much.
Her husband, Samuel James Fabry, whom she married September 22, 1951, passed away January 23, 2006.
Surviving are: four daughters, Janice Gerasimek and her husband James, Sharpsville; Marcie Fabry and Kristy Gillespie and her husband Chip, all Decatur, AL; and Sue Napodano and her husband Mark, Transfer; ten grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
She also leaves four sisters and 9 brothers, all whom live outside of Mercer County and were very dear to her.
Besides her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Joseph Matas; and a sister, Mildred Burda.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to C.L. Lane Bible Institute of SMEA, Inc., 1013 Rutledge Rd., P.O. Box 116, Transfer, PA 16154.
