Obituary

Mary Ann Curry 76, of 52 S. Mercer Ave., Sharpsville, PA passed away at 2:30 p.m. Saturday (12-12-09) in the Hospitality Care Center, Hermitage, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Curry was born May 23, 1933 in New Castle, PA the only child of William Paul and Margaret Veronica Bumbulucz Lochner.

She attended St. Joseph Parochial Grade School in Sharon and was a graduate of Sharon High School.

Mary Ann reired from Reyers Shoe Store in Sharon where she worked for several years after her children were raised. A homemaker, she was a member of the Church of Notre Dame in Hermitage, PA. Before her illness, Mary Ann was a volunteer at Sharon Regional Health System. Mary Ann will be dearly missed by her family and many dear friends.

Mrs. Curry leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters and their spouses, Michelle Suzanne Potterton and her husband Sanford (Sandy) C. Potterton, Grove City, Ohio; Danielle Marie Cucitrone and her husband Robert A. Cucitrone, Hermitage; and Jennifer Sue Ziegler and her husband Scott F. Zeigler, Pickerington, Ohio; and five grandchildren, Marianne Margaret DeFrank; Adam Robert and Caitlin Elizabeth Cucitrone; and Ryan Curry and Erin Makenzie Zeigler.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her former husband, James Robert Curry.

Calling hours will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday (12-15-09) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon. Friends may email condolences by visiting www.McGonigleFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (12-16-09) in the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage. Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Sharon Regional Hospice and Palliative Care, 740 E. State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
