Mary Theresa Coyne of Sharon passed away at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017, in her residence. She was 91.

Mrs. Coyne was born July 12, 1925, in Belfast, Ireland, a daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth McCourt O'Neill. She was educated in Ireland and moved to the United State in 1944.

A homemaker, she was a member of St. Joseph Church, Sharon. Years earlier, Mary Theresa was a volunteer at MCAR in Hermitage.

Her husband, Robert Francis Coyne, whom she married July 22, 1944, in Belfast, Ireland, passed away July 2, 1994.

Surviving are two daughters, Eileen Kidd, Farrell; and Jacqueline Bambrick, Texas; a son, Shawn M. Coyne, New Mexico; three grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Mary Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daniel Anthony Coyne; a granddaughter, Andrea Kidd; and three brothers, Andrew, Malachy and Joseph O'Neill.

Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2017, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2017, in St. Rose Cemetery chapel, Dutch Lane, Hermitage, with Rev. Thomas Whitman, pastor of St. Joseph Church, Sharon, as celebrant.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
