Mary B. Conti, 90, of Farrell, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, April 30, 2025, in Quality Life Services, Mercer.
Mrs. Conti was born November 4, 1934, in Sicily, Italy, a daughter of the late Joseph and Emmanuella Busciglio. She emigrated to the United States in 1947 at the age of 13 and later graduated from Farrell High School in 1954.
Mary worked as a tour manager at Bortner Bus and Tours in Sharpsville for many years, later working in the same capacity for Premier Tours in Hermitage.
A woman of deep faith, Mary was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Farrell, where she actively volunteered in the kitchen for all church activities and weddings, most notably as an Easter Bread Baker and "Cavatelli Lady."
A tremendously fit and active woman, Mary competed in the Senior Olympics until the age of 85 and was a dedicated daily walker for the majority of her life. Above all, she loved spending time with family and friends, especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her husband of 61 years Donald J. Conti, whom she married February 19, 1955, preceded her in death on February 24, 2016.
Mary is survived by a daughter, Donna M. Miller (Chuck), Sharpsville; a son, Greg P. Conti (Nicole), Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandchildren, Danielle Coffran (Bradley), and Dominic and Aidon Conti; two great-grandchildren, Brooks and Calvin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Angelina LoScalzo; and a brother, Ciro Busciglio.
Calling hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday (5-3-25) in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell.
Mass of Christian Burial will be immediately following at 11 a.m., in the church, with Rev. Glenn Whitman, as celebrant.
Interment: St. Anthony Cemetery, Hermitage.
