Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Burdick of Sharon, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 21, 2017, in Nugent's Continuing Care Retirement Community. She was 86.
Mary was born in Greenville, PA, on December 10, 1930, the daughter of Walter Emerson Beardsley and Elizabeth Jane Cook Beardsley.
She was a graduate of Penn High School and a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenville, PA.
Following graduation, Mary moved to Sharon, PA where she continued to reside until the time of her death.
On November 11, 1975 she married Richard Burdick, who preceded her in death. In later years Mary lived alone; she was an avid reader and enjoyed her friends and neighbors, who treated her like family.
She is survived by her brother, Walter Beardsley Jr., Charleston, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters: Betty Dale, Alice Beardsley, Marjorie Trio, Elinore (Jane) Martin, and an infant girl; and a brother, William Beardsley.
There will be no calling hours.
