Obituary

Mary Jane Bible, 90, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, May 1, 2025, in UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle.

Mrs. Bible was born September 5, 1934, in Georgetown, PA, a daughter of the late Francis and Harriet "Ella" (Campbell) Doak. Mary Jane graduated from Lincoln High School, Midland, PA, in 1952.

A homemaker for many years, Mary Jane worked as the office administrator at Cuyahoga Falls Art Center later in her life.

Mary Jane was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sharon.

She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren – especially during her favorite holiday, Christmas. Mary Jane always looked forward to decorating her home for the holidays and enjoying a Hallmark movie during downtime.

She is survived by two sons, Robert W. Bible, Jr., St. Petersburg, FL, and Steven E. Bible (Lori), Hermitage; four grandchildren, Katie Folsom (Chad), Josh Bible (Bethany), Lindsay Burnham (James), and Lexi Bible (fiancé, Kevin Padlo); six great-grandchildren, Haylie, Luke, Grayson, Hudson, Wes, and Emmy – with one more expected soon, "Poppy;" a brother, James Doak (Karen), Panama City, FL; and a sister-in-law, Ginger Doak, Weirton, WV.

In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey and Richard Bible; three brothers; and one sister.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Interment: Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown, PA.
