Mary Alice Beal, 47, of Hermitage, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 2, 2018.

Mary was born May 23, 1971, in Sharon, a daughter of Emory and Rosalee (Granata) Beal. She was a 1989 graduate of Hickory High School where she held several track records. Mary graduated first in her class from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, where she majored in physical therapy. She was employed as a physical therapist at Villa Maria Nursing Home, Columbus, OH.

A devout Catholic, Mary had a strong spiritual faith and was a member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage. She was a daily communicant and served as a lecturer and Eucharistic Minister.  She was devoted to praying for all the souls of the faithfully departed.

She will be deeply missed by her parents of Hermitage; three sisters, Karen (Justin) Kluemper and their children, Mickey and Mitchell, of Jasper, IN; Sarah Jane (Steve) Mudre and their children, Nathan and Grant, of Columbus, OH; and Christine (Cary) Dunst and their children, Gracie and Mason, of Weston, CT; a brother, Deacon Brian Beal, of Weston, Mass.; four aunts and one uncle; and her many spiritual friends at the Church of Notre Dame.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Church of the Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.

Mass of Christian burial will be private.

Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
