Mary Louise Arcomano, Brookfield, Ohio, passed away at 12:13 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012, in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Boardman, Ohio after a brief illness. She was 87.
Mrs. Arcomano was born March 26, 1925 in Sharon a daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Kaiser Pappa.
A lifelong area resident, she was a 1943 graduate of Sharon High School.
Prior to her marriage, she was a group leader at the former Sharon Transformer Division of Westinghouse Electric Corporation and was employed at the former A & P, also Sharon.
A homemaker, she was a member of Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon.
Her husband, John C. 'Jack' Arcomano, whom she married June 2, 1956, passed away February 19, 1990. Together they shared 34 years of marriage and loved to dance. From 1985 to 1988 they owned and operated the former New Columbia Restaurant in downtown Sharon.
Mary Lou was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Tuesday morning early bird bowling league at Thornton Hall Lanes in Sharon and a local card club for fifty years. She had an enormous love for her family and enjoyed her home and cooking.
Surviving are: two daughters, April Arco and her fiancé William Curtis, Shaker Heights, Ohio; and Lisa L. Haun and her husband Ronald E., Masury, Ohio; four grandchildren, Alicia and Andrew Iarussi; and Ronnie and Johnathan Haun; a sister, Helen 'Boots' Dickman, Hermitage; and three nieces and a nephew.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 Tuesday, April 17, 2012, in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Mass of Christian burial will be 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon, with the Rev. Henry Andrae, pastor, as celebrant.
