Martha A. Logan, of Hubbard, OH, formerly of Sharpsville, PA, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, February 4, 2019. She was 77.

Mrs. Logan was born April 30, 1941, in Sharon, a daughter of the late George and Sophie (Karsonvich) Slovesko. She was a 1959 alumna of Sharpsville High School.

Martha was first employed by McDowell Bank, Sharon, where she met her beloved husband, John Logan. They were married on September 4, 1965, in St. Bartholomew Church, Sharpsville, and he passed away August 5, 2014, following nearly 49 years of marriage.

She also worked for many years as a bookkeeper at the former Bennett Brake, Youngstown, OH.

Martha was a former member of St. Bernadette's, Masury, OH, and Church of the Sacred Heart, Sharon.

An avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan, she also enjoyed bowling in several leagues at Thornton Hall, Sharon, going to bingo, and playing cards with the "Over the Hill Gang" card club. Above all else, Martha cherished spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Martha is survived by a daughter, Collen Young and her husband, Rob Sweeney, Novi, MI; a son, John D. Logan and his wife, Cindy, Massillon, OH; a brother, Raymond Slovesko, Hermitage; three grandchildren, David (Lindsay) Logan, and Matthew and Abigail Logan, and a great granddaughter, Willow.

In addition to her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by a brother, George "Sonny" Slovesko.

Calling hours will be 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday (2-7-19) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Friday (2-8-19) in St. Bartholomew Church, 311 W Ridge Ave, Sharpsville, PA, with Rev. Mark Hoffman, as celebrant.

Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hermitage.
