Obituary
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday for Marstella 'Marcie' Sirianni Lufriu, John XXIII Home for Senior Citizens, formerly of Morefield Road, Hermitage, and Pershing Drive, Farrell, who passed away of natural causes at 3:18 p.m. on Monday (3-22-10) in the home. She was 93.
She was born on June 5, 1916 in Walston, Pa. the daughter of Gabriel and Concetta Chiodo Sirianni.
Her family moved to Farrell where she attended Farrell Schools, St Anthony and Our Lady of Fatima Church.
She was a member of both Our Lady of Fatima Church and St. Joseph's Church, Sharon.
A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, she was a gentle caregiver to all of her family throughout her life. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to bake for everyone and was always willing to help others.
Her husband, William F. Lufriu, whom she married on April 11, 1942, passed away March 10, 1989.
She is survived by her daughter, Elaine Mastrian and her husband Dr. Louis C. Mastrian, Hermitage, four grandchildren: Dr. Louis W. Mastrian and his wife Dr. Margaret 'Maggie' Mastrian, Hermitage, Kimberly Udell and her husband C. Robert Udell, Kevin M. Mastrian, and Jason M. Mastrian; eight great grandchildren, Dominic, Nathan, and Gianna Mastrian, Kayla and Alec Udell, Haley, Demi, and Lena Mastrian.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Marasco, Jennie Lenzi, and Kathryn Raykie, six brothers, Anthony, Charles, Frank, Michael, Peter, and James Sirianni.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Services: Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday (3-27-10) at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church 601 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, with Rev. Donald E. Berdis, pastor as celebrant. A brief prayer service will take place at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home prior to leaving for the church.
Interment: St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hermitage.
