Marlene D. Kaczmarczyk, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025.
She was always there for everyone, whether she knew them for 60 plus years, 60 minutes, or just a comforting voice on the telephone. Marlene touched everyone's lives through her faith, her love of volunteer work and helping others and especially at home with her loving husband Peter, of 47 years, her daughters, Antoinette, Amber (Rob Shulik) and her adoring grandchildren, Luca and Owen. No matter how far away from us, or we were from her, she called every day, or they called her. That was how it was.
She touched the lives of so many friends that there is not enough paper in the world to list them all. Just know that she appreciated each and every one, and they surely appreciated her.
She was a faithful member of the Church of Notre Dame, Hermitage. Marlene also volunteered at Prince of Peace in Farrell, Meals on Wheels, and previously was a friend to everyone and a kind ear at the Mental Health Association of Mercer County.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, Antoinette and Andrew "Pop" Dorcheck; a brother, David Dorcheck; a sister, Eileen Hillman; and a niece, Courtney Hillman.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to Meals on Wheels, 850 North Hermitage Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148.
