Marion E. 'Guba' Hevener , 1517 Roemer Blvd., Farrell, Pa. passed away unexpectedly at 8: 48 a.m. Friday (1-15-10) at her residence. She was 64.
She was born on August 23, 1945 in Farrell the daughter of Michael and Elizabeth Giroski Guba.
A lifelong area resident, she graduated in 1963 from Farrell High School.
Marion was employed at one time by what is now known as Sharon Regional Health System, and for St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Youngstown, as a Surgical Technician. She previously worked in housekeeping at Ron Joy Nursing Home, Boardman, and currently for John XXIII Home for Senior Citizens, Hermitage.
She was a devout Christian and member of Lakeside Evangelical Congregational Church, Transfer, and she was a former member of St. John's C.R. Orthodox Church, Sharon. She enjoyed bible classes and she also was known to dress as 'Blossom the Clown' and use her clown Ministry to entertain and teach her audience.
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth 'Betty' Guba, with whom she lived, her son Michael P. Hevener, Austintown, OH, her aunt, Julia Miklos, Hermitage, her two cousins, Ruth Guba, Sharon, and Mary Ann Bokar and her husband George, all Sharon.
