Marilyn M. Krivosh, 89, of Hermitage, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in her home.
Mrs. Krivosh was born on May 5, 1935, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Patrick and Emeline (Zimmer) McMahon and was a graduate of Sharon High School.
Marilyn was a hard worker and at the age of 13 began working at the former Uptown Corner Market on the corner of Buhl Blvd. and East State Street in Sharon. Having worked her entire life, she retired as a supervisor of the Mercer County Assistance Office.
Marilyn was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Sharon.
She was generous, intelligent, and family-oriented with a great sense of humor.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Krivosh, of Hermitage; two grandchildren, Cyril and Quinn Krivosh; two great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Saphia; three sisters, Jane O'Neill and her husband, Bill, of Sharpsville, Elaine Missory, of Sharon, and Trish Rankin; a brother, James "Red" McMahon (former District Magistrate) and his wife, Elena, of Conneaut, OH; a sister-in-law, Patricia McMahon, of Hermitage; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril M. Krivosh, whom she married on September 2, 1955; a son, Paul Alan Krivosh; a sister, Margaret "Peg" McMahon and her husband, Mike; and two brothers, Richard "Dick" McMahon and Dave McMahon.
In keeping with Marilyn's wishes there are no services.
Interment: St. Rose Cemetery, Hermitage.
