Marilyn L. Callahan, 87, of Brookfield, OH, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday evening, June 19, 2025, in UPMC Passavant - McCandless Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Marilyn was born April 1, 1938, in Sharon, a daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Shotten) Titus. She was a proud member of the 1957 graduating class from Sharon High School. Marilyn attended Youngstown State University, where she completed real estate courses and earned her license in 1989.

She was a member of the Ohio Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, and the Warren Area Board of Realtors, retiring in 2009.

Since 1959, Marilyn has been a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Sharon, where she taught Sunday School, belonged to the ECU, and served in the Altar Guild.

She loved dancing, water skiing, and dance roller skating. Marilyn loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Marilyn is survived by a daughter, Lisa Marie (Michael Olson), Akron, OH; two sons, Daniel Chiodo, Bogota, Colombia, and Gary Chiodo (Kim), Brookfield, OH; a stepson, Michael Callahan (Lynne); two step daughters, Debby Evans (Mark) and Lisa Dieger; eleven grandchildren, Scott, Brielle, Janelle, Daniel, Angelina, Alex, Kaitlyn, Michael, Paige, Seth, and Evan; and three great-grandchildren, Ameris Lee, Carter and Alexander.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Vern T. Callahan; two sisters, Leta Reeher and Evelyn Velgos; a brother, Glenn Titus; and a nephew, Scott Reeher.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday (6-24-25) in J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1090 E. State St., Sharon.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (6-25-25) in St. John's Episcopal Church, 226 W. State St., Sharon.

Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
