Obituary
Mariann Domenick, 97, of Union Township passed away the morning of Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Golden Hill Nursing Home, New Castle.
Mrs. Domenick was born Jan. 3, 1921, in New Castle to the late Charles and Antonette (Varvetta) Froello.
Mariann retired in 1981 from the former Shenango China Co., New Castle, where she worked as a kiln drawer for 30 years.
She was a member of St. Mary Church, Mary, Mother of Hope Parish.
Mariann enjoyed working in her yard, cooking and baking.
Her husband of 56 years, Carmen A. Domenick, whom she married Aug. 15, 1938, preceded her in death in 2004.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol A. Ross and her husband, Edwin, of New Castle.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mariann was preceded in death by her son, Carmen A Domenick Jr.; and four brothers, Samuel, Angelo, Jerry and Domenic Froello.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Church, 124 N. Beaver St., New Castle, with the Rev. William Siple, parochial vicar, serving as celebrant.
Interment will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to SouthernCare Hospice, 3307 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 111 W. Falls St., New Castle
