Marian B. Parcetic of Sharpsville, formerly of Sharon, passed away at
11:45 a.m.
Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, after a brief illness.
She was 71.
Mrs. Parcetic was born August 16, 1944, in Sharon, a daughter of William Frederick and Beatrice Keddy Barger.
She was raised in Sharon and was a 1962 graduate of Sharon High School.
Marian was employed by J.C. Penney Co. for many years and retired in 2006 as the manager of its catalog department.
She was a former member of St. Joseph Church, Sharon.
Marian enjoyed baseball and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and coached her sons little league team in Clark.
She was also a member of the Clark Volunteer Fire Department and its auxiliary.
Her husband, William "Bill" C. Parcetic, whom she married May 4, 1968, passed away May 27, 2014.
He was a career Navy veteran.
Surviving are: four children, Stephanie Stubrich and her husband Trent, Hubbard; Kimberly Gargano and her husband Nicholas, Farrell; William Charles Parcetic, II, and his wife Michelle, Jamestown; and Patrick Parcetic and his fiancé Dorothy Edeburn, Sharpsville; seven grandchildren whom she adored, Sasha McMillin and her husband TJ; Sawyer and Sydney Stubrich; Tracey and Colton Parcetic; Dylan Edeburn; and Victoria Murray.
She also leaves three brothers, Vincent Barger, Erie (formerly of Hermitage); Albert Barger, also Erie; Patrick Barger and his wife Prugh, Grove City, PA; and her grand dogs.
Besides her husband, Marian was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Barbara J. Bordell and Rosemary Barger who died in infancy; and a brother, Bernard Barger.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
